I noticed your post about the Flying Saucer Fall Beer Festival in Fort Worth, and I wanted to pass along a bit more information on featured beers.
Featured beers will include rare special releases and a limited-edition cask-conditioned ale, including Brooklyn Chocolate Stout and Allagash Curieux in the East Coast tent and Stone 13th Anniversary Ale in the West Coast tent. Attendees also can go inside Flying Saucer to sample other special-release beers.
The Captain’s Picks tent is scheduled to feature a brew made by Captain Keith at Sierra Nevada’s recent beer camp. The brew, called Sierra Nevada Edge of Darkness, will be offered in a very limited supply.
Admission is free, but for $15, you'll get a commemorative glass and tasting card that can be redeemed for a sampling of 10 of the 20-plus featured beers.
