AUSTIN - In their continual evolution, Austin's Whip-In convenience mart and "parlour café" has purchased a brewhouse, as reported by Beertown Austin.
No word yet on a brewer, but Whip-In plans to be selling their own Belgian- and English-style house beers by the spring of 2012.

New Beers from Hops and Grain
AUSTIN - Brewery under development Hops and Grain recently received can label approval for two of their beers, their Pale Dog pale ale and Alteration altbier, which may indicate they are close to officially opening.

Rahr & Sons The Regulator
FORT WORTH - Another beer label was just approved for Rahr & Sons special 22-oz bottled "To Thee" series: The Regulator, a traditional German doppelbock.
